Wesley and Lauren’s Boise Wedding
When the clock struck midnight and everyone yelled “Happy New Year!”, most people were looking forward to a long night of partying or sleeping in late the next morning. Wes and Lauren were looking forward to their wedding. They chose to get married on January 1st, 2011 partially for the date (1/1/11) and partially for the magic that surrounds the holiday. New Year’s is full of excitement and hopes of the year to come. The chance to start something new and change your life for the better.
One thing I will say about Wes and Lauren is that they’re fun, energetic, silly…oh, and insanely in love (okay, that was more than one thing. :)) The support and encouragement they offer each other will last them into their waning years. And their ability to make each other laugh will make those years a heck of a lot of fun.
One thing I can say about Wes and Lauren’s new combined family…let’s just say that Wes and Lauren are one lucky couple. Their families are so warm and inviting. I truly enjoyed spending time with everyone! (PS – Lauren’s my sister-in-law, so I knew that it was going to be a fun wedding!)
Wes and Lauren, honestly, what can I say? I am so so happy for you, and wish you all the best in the years to come. I was absolutely honored to be a part of your wedding, and while I was able to hold back the tears then, they are definitely coming now. :) Congratulations!!

Wesley and Lauren’s Louisville Engagement Session
It happens when we least expect it. When we’re recovering from a difficult break up or focusing on our studies. When we’re late for work and miss the train. That’s when it happens. We fall in love. And for most of us, we fall hard.
When Tristan invited Wes over to watch the game, he thought nothing of it. They were both in their first semester of grad school and both grew up in Idaho. It seemed innocent enough. As Tristan had planned, Wes met his sister Lauren that day. What started as a friendship soon blossomed into a relationship, and they fell. Hard.
Lauren and Wes are the kind of couple where you know it was meant to be. They make each other laugh and share the same carefree spirit. They care deeply for their friends and family and are the kind of people you could call in a jam. And in a few short months, Wes and Lauren will commit to each other in front of the people who love them so much. (Guaranteed: I will cry.)
Wes and Lauren: Congratulations on your engagement! I can’t wait for your wedding, and I am so, so happy for the both of you!
